Unidentified male body found in wooded area in Çorum
An unidentified male body found by hunters in a wooded area near the village of Hızırdede in Çorum has been damaged by wild animals. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Hunters who saw a person lying motionless on the ground in a wooded area near the village of Hızırdede reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.
In the examination carried out by the gendarmerie crime scene investigation teams, it was determined that the person found had lost their life.

While no signs of cuts or trauma were found on the body, which is estimated to belong to a man in his forties, it was determined that some parts of the body had been damaged by wild animals.
POSSIBILITY OF DEATH BY FREEZING
It was reported that the person in question may have died from freezing.

The body, which is considered to be of a foreign national due to the Iranian rials found on it, was taken to the morgue of Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital for identification and to determine the exact cause of death following the work of the crime scene investigation teams.
