AKP's special election song for İzmir: 'We loved, we fell in love'

AKP's İzmir election song was played before the district candidate introduction meeting. President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the mayoral candidates for 30 districts at the candidate introduction meeting held at the Halkapınar Sports Hall.

Before the meeting, as İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Hamza Dağ took the stage, the song specially prepared for İzmir was played.

The song "Sevdik sevdalandık" (We loved, we fell in love), performed by Reyhan Karaca, was adapted and used for İzmir. The lyrics of the song included the phrases, "We loved, we fell in love. We became attached to İzmir. No more separation, it won't happen, it won't happen; Let the world hear, let the world hear, don't worry, the solution is here, now we can succeed, it will happen, it will happen."
