Armed clash with long-barreled weapons in the middle of the street in Küçükçekmece

An armed clash took place in the vicinity of the fishing shelters near the Marmaray station in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece district.

According to eyewitness accounts, the parties opened fire on each other with long-barreled weapons. The moment of the incident was recorded by citizens in the area using mobile phone cameras.

TWO PEOPLE INJURED, POLICE CORDONED OFF THE AREA

It was learned that two people were injured as a result of the clash. The injured were taken to the hospital after receiving initial medical intervention from emergency teams at the scene.

SUSPECTS APPREHENDED

Three individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the armed attack in a parking lot in Küçükçekmece that left 2 people injured. The processing of the suspects, who were caught with their weapons, continues at the police station.

The incident occurred around 15:30 on Istanbul Street in the Fatih neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. According to the information obtained, individuals identified as B.Ö. (26), M.T. (26), and M.P. (25) arrived by vehicle and launched an armed attack on M.B. (31), D.A.H. (46), H.Ç. (24), and M.K. (28), who were sitting in an area used as a parking lot and a place for animal sacrifices. As a result of the attack, individuals named D.A.H. and H.Ç. were injured. Additionally, a dog belonging to the parking lot died in the attack.

The suspects attempted to flee the scene on foot, leaving behind the vehicle they arrived in. The injured remained on the ground covered in blood. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams transported the injured to the hospital after providing initial treatment.

Police teams affiliated with the Küçükçekmece District Police Department, who arrived at the scene in a short time, apprehended the suspects in the neighborhood streets following a pursuit. The processing of the detained individuals, B.Ö. (26), M.T. (26), and M.P. (25), continues at the police station.

Two automatic pistols and one unlicensed pistol, determined to have been used by the suspects in the incident, were seized.
