The words uttered in a video shared on social media drew backlash from viewers. In the footage filmed at a metro station, a bearded and turbaned individual standing next to the person recording the video is heard making a disgusting remark behind a young girl who asked him for passage on the escalator.
The individual, who was waiting on the wrong side of the escalator and made room for the young girl who asked for passage, then approached the person next to him and used the phrase, "You need to stick it to those who pass by."
The pair laughed after this response, and the footage, which was published on social media, sparked widespread outrage.
