Living in the İnegöl district of Bursa, Züftü Şirin allegedly forgot to pay alimony last month to his ex-wife, whom he divorced 20 years ago. Following this, his ex-wife, who lives in Australia and was married to him for 25 years, filed a complaint.
After the complaint, Şirin was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams. Following the procedures, Şirin was arrested.
While being taken to prison under gendarmerie escort, Şirin could not hold back his tears.
