In Elazığ, a 5-story building that sustained heavy damage in the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes collapsed with the sound of a horn.
Elazığ continues the demolition of buildings that sustained heavy damage in the February 6 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes.
Demolition began on a heavily damaged 5-story building in the Yeni Mahalle district after perimeter security was established. During the demolition of the building, sound waves were utilized in addition to heavy machinery. Support was provided to specific points of the building with the sound of a horn. The 5-story building collapsed under the intervention of heavy machinery and the effect of the sound waves.
