IETT bus crashes into a tree in Bahçelievler: There are injured!

An IETT bus traveling on İzzettin Çalışlar Street lost control and crashed into a tree on the side of the road. 7 people on the bus were injured in the accident. Upon notification, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured were taken to the hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical teams at the scene.

Police teams also took security measures on the road.

The IETT bus sustained damage due to the accident.

Uğur Kuşçu, one of the citizens who rushed to help the injured, stated that the accident occurred at a point close to the bus stop and said, "There was no vehicle squeezing it from behind, it hit directly. The accident happened in front of the school. Thank God the children were inside, they were not in front of the door. Together with fellow shopkeepers, we helped the injured out of the bus."

Efforts by the teams to remove the bus and clean the area are ongoing.

On the other hand, the accident was recorded by a security camera in the vicinity. In the footage, it is seen that the IETT bus, which was moving in the right lane, suddenly crashes into a tree on the side of the road and people around rush to help after the accident.
