The moments were captured on security camera footage. Police have launched a wide-scale investigation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.

Tamer Ekim, a jeweler in the Gülbahçe neighborhood of Bursa's Osmangazi district, had a gun pointed at him by a masked individual who entered the shop while he was sitting inside. The panicked jeweler began filling the bag the attacker handed him with gold. Realizing that the gun in the hand of the attacker, who had approached behind the jewelry counter, was a toy, the shop owner Ekim dropped the bag and began hitting the attacker. The panicked suspect immediately headed for the door and quickly disappeared, while the tragicomic moments were reflected on the workplace's security camera.

It was learned that the same jewelry store was robbed 10 years ago and that robbers had attempted a robbery 5 years ago as well.
