A worker has lost his life after being struck by a truck at a construction site for TOKİ earthquake housing in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır.
A worker has lost his life after being struck by a truck at a construction site for TOKİ earthquake housing in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır.
According to the information received, construction worker Hasan Savur (42) was critically injured after being struck by a reversing truck at the construction site of the earthquake housing project being built by the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) in the Oğlaklı neighborhood of the central Bağlar district.
Upon notification of the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams determined during their checks that Savur had lost his life. Savur's body was sent to the hospital for an autopsy.
The truck driver was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams and removed from the construction site in an armored vehicle.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
