YSK Chairman Ahmet Yener speaks on local elections renewed in 3 districts and 4 towns
Supreme Election Council (YSK) Chairman Ahmet Yener commented on the local elections renewed in 3 districts and 4 towns, stating, "For now, there is no negative situation; everything is going well."
Following the March 31 Local Administration General Elections, voting continues in 3 districts and 4 towns where it was decided to renew the elections as a result of objections.
Supreme Election Council (YSK) Chairman Ahmet Yener, in a statement to journalists in front of the YSK, reported that the elections are proceeding without issues and expressed his hope that they will continue in this manner.
Yener reminded that the ballot boxes will be opened as of 17:00 and said, "As a council, we will decide whether to lift the broadcast ban before 21:00 and announce it to you. For now, there is no negative situation; everything is going well."
