Date announced: Massive internet price hike from Türk Telekom!

Türk Telekom is preparing to implement a major hike in internet prices. The new increased tariff will come into effect starting July 1, 2024.

The price of the lowest non-contractual and unlimited internet package, "up to 12 Mbps," will rise from 650 TL to 755 TL.

WILL USERS WITH CONTRACTS BE AFFECTED?

Users with ongoing contracts will not be affected by the new price hike. The tariff in question concerns non-contractual customers and new subscribers.

The statement made by Türk Telekom on its official website is as follows:

"Starting from July 1, 2024; updates will be made to the list prices of Home/Work Internet tariffs, MEB (Ministry of National Education) tariffs, Naked/Alo access list prices, Alo minute package list prices, Static IP list prices, and One-Time Transaction fees (transfer, assignment, line suspension, line cancellation).

Only our customers who are currently without a contract will be affected by the aforementioned list price updates, and our customers with contracts will not be affected by any price changes for the duration of their contract periods. Our non-contractual customers can also continue their usage without being affected by any price changes by participating in our advantageous campaigns."
