Date set: Major price hike on the way for diesel

The rise in Brent crude oil prices continues to be reflected in fuel prices. According to information obtained from industry sources, a price hike of 2 lira and 5 kuruş will be applied to the liter price of diesel starting from midnight tonight. With this increase, the price of diesel in some regions of Turkey will reach up to 56 lira.

ARE NEW PEAKS COMING IN FUEL PRICES?

Although Brent crude oil is hovering around the 68 dollar level, it is stated that price increases may continue due to refinery profit margins. Industry representatives state that if Brent crude oil prices exceed 70 dollars, the liter price of diesel and gasoline could see 60 TL.

- Istanbul (Anatolian): 52.09 TL/L
- Istanbul (European): 52.21 TL/L
- Ankara: 53.17 TL/L
- Izmir: 53.51 TL/L

GASOLINE

- Istanbul (Anatolian): 52.76 TL/L
- Istanbul (European): 52.91 TL/L
- Ankara: 53.7 TL/L
- Izmir: 54.04 TL/L
