Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced that the Fatih Drillship has begun drilling operations at its new location in the Black Sea, the Göktepe-2 well.
Bayraktar shared information regarding the new drilling activity in the Black Sea on the social media platform X.
Providing information on the ship's latest status, Bayraktar stated in his post, "We are setting sail for new discoveries in the Black Sea. Our Fatih Drillship has begun drilling operations at the well we named Göktepe-2 in the Sakarya Gas Field. While increasing production on one hand, we will continue our exploration in new fields on the other."
