The Treasury's new revenue stream! Identity verification is now fee-based

The Revenue Administration, under the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, has taken a new step. According to the GİB's decision, services that were previously free will now be subject to a fee. The fees will be charged when data is shared with public institutions and organizations that are not part of the public administration, as well as legal entities.

WHICH TRANSACTIONS WILL BE CHARGED?

In this regulation, referred to as a participation fee, the price varies depending on the transaction, but a minimum service fee of 35 kuruş is charged. Citizens are curious about which services this regulation applies to.

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance will collect a participation fee from institutions and organizations that retrieve information from the system.

The institutions from which the Ministry will collect payments are: public institutions and organizations outside of public administrations, legal entities, and professional organizations with the status of public institutions and their umbrella organizations.

THOSE WHO DO NOT PAY ON TIME WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BENEFIT FROM THIS SERVICE

The amount of the participation fee will be determined by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance based on the transaction performed. Payments will be calculated based on the data shared by the Revenue Administration for each three-month period of the calendar year and will be notified to those with whom the data is shared by the end of the month following the three-month period.

Inquiry services will not be provided to those who do not make the payment.
