Internet prices increased
TurkNet has raised its internet subscription fees, which it had kept stable for 13 months. The company announced the new tariff to its subscribers via email. The old price will be maintained for those who make a 1-year advance payment.
TurkNet, one of Turkey's leading independent internet service providers, has implemented a significant increase in its prices, which had remained stable for 13 months. The company informed its customers via email that it has set the new price for its unlimited internet service at 699.90 TL, up from 499.90 TL.
In the statement sent to subscribers, the reason for the price hike was cited as the sustainability of high-quality, fast, and unlimited service. The email message included the following statements:
"We have done our best to keep our price stable for the past 13 months. However, in order to continue providing you with the same quality, fast, and unlimited internet service, we are sharing this first and only price update of the year with you."
NEW TARIFF TAKES EFFECT ON AUGUST 1
TurkNet's new price tariff will be effective starting August 1, 2025. All subscribers receiving service after this date will pay 699.90 TL per month.
