The MTV is accrued annually every January by the tax office where the vehicle is registered. The applied MTV can be paid in two equal installments, in January and July.

WHERE AND HOW IS THE MTV PAYMENT MADE?

MTV payments can be made via the Digital Tax Office or the GİB mobile application between 00:10 and 23:50 using debit or credit cards from contracted banks, bank transfers from accounts, cards issued by banks operating in foreign countries, as well as through banks authorized to collect taxes, tax office counters, and PTT branches.

HOW MUCH IS THE MTV IN 2025?

In accordance with the Presidential Decree, the MTV has been increased by the revaluation rate (43.93 percent).

A vehicle that had a motor vehicle tax of 2 thousand 343 liras in 2024 will have a 2025 tax of 3 thousand 372 liras, while a vehicle with a motor vehicle tax of 5 thousand 265 liras will have a 2025 tax of 7 thousand 577 liras.
