Mehmet Şimşek to meet with Asian investors in Hong Kong
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will attend the Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong to hold key cooperation talks.
Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will hold various economic meetings in Hong Kong on January 26 as part of the international Asian Financial Forum. Şimşek's visit is notable as it follows his recent meetings with investors in London and New York.
Minister Şimşek will be a speaker at the session titled "Fostering Cooperation for Shared Success" at the forum. The panel will be moderated by Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Christopher Hui Ching-yu.
As part of the visit, Şimşek is scheduled to meet with the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, John Lee Ka-chiu. Bilateral meetings will also be held with Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Christopher Hui Ching-yu.
Minister Şimşek's schedule also includes a private meeting with the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Jin Liqun.
Şimşek's meetings in Hong Kong aim to strengthen international investor interest in Turkey and advance bilateral cooperation. Leading institutional investors, portfolio managers, and senior economists will also be present at the meetings held within the scope of the economic forum.
