R&D project call from Turkish Petroleum for "localization" in design, production, and manufacturing
The General Directorate of Turkish Petroleum has issued an R&D project call for the design, analysis, and manufacturing of "Corrosive Environment Indirect Heated Gas Separator Units" to be used in oil and natural gas production, with the aim of achieving these processes domestically.
The announcement from the General Directorate was published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the plan is to obtain detailed designs for units that will operate in corrosive environments by performing necessary corrosion calculations, as well as to design and manufacture Corrosive Environment Indirect Heated Gas Separator Units that are long-lasting, compliant with relevant standards, operate safely, and do not infringe upon existing patent rights.
Furthermore, the aim is to realize a domestic design, analysis, and manufacturing process that meets technical requirements in accordance with international standards and is competitive in the international arena in terms of quality, functionality, and price.
Within the scope of the project, 1 Light Corrosive Environment Indirect Heated Gas Separator Unit and 1 High Corrosive Environment Indirect Heated Gas Separator Unit will be manufactured. A maximum of 12 months will be granted for design, and 2 months for field testing.
The deadline for project applications has been set for January 4, 2024, at 17:30. Companies interested in the project must apply to the General Directorate before the final application date and time.
