The investment vehicle that left its mark on the week has been revealed
Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 2.26 percent on a weekly basis, while the dollar/TL rose by 0.47 percent and the euro/TL by 0.06 percent; the gram price of gold recorded a decrease of 0.30 percent.
The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 8,917.74 and a high of 9,306.34 points, completed the week at 9,250.36 points, gaining 2.26 percent compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 0.30 percent this week to 1,989 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold fell by 0.32 percent to 13 thousand 366 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3 thousand 283 liras last weekend, dropped to 3 thousand 221 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.47 percent to reach 30.8290 liras, and the euro rose by 0.06 percent to 33.1280 liras.
Investment funds gained 1.50 percent and individual pension funds gained 1.57 percent this week.
When viewed by category, the highest-earning investment funds were "Stock" funds with 3.14 percent.
