A person in the US state of California has won the 1.76 billion dollar "Powerball" jackpot, the second largest in world history.
According to a statement by the lottery organization The California Lottery, an individual whose identity has not yet been disclosed in the US state of California won the grand prize in the "Powerball" lottery, which had rolled over for 36 consecutive weeks.
