Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 4.39 percent on a weekly basis, while the dollar/TL rose by 0.73 percent, the gram price of gold by 0.30 percent, and the euro/TL by 0.56 percent.
The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 8,694.94 and a high of 9,045.97 points, completed the week at 9,045.97 points, gaining 4.39 percent compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 0.30 percent this week to 1,995 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 0.28 percent to 13 thousand 409 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3 thousand 273 liras last weekend, rose to 3 thousand 283 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.73 percent to reach 30.6850 liras, and the euro rose by 0.56 percent to 33.1070 liras.
Investment funds gained 1.56 percent and individual pension funds gained 1.60 percent this week. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Stock" funds with 3.58 percent.
