The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has responded to the leak allegations that have surfaced regarding the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS) and its data center. The institution stated that the allegations do not reflect the truth and that no security breaches were found during the checks conducted.
“NO LEAK DETECTED”
The following statements were included in YÖK's written announcement:
“As a result of the regular checks we conduct at our Council of Higher Education, no leaks or unauthorized access have been detected in YÖKSİS. There is no vulnerability reported to us by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) to date regarding a leak in our institution's information system.”
REGULAR SYSTEM SCANS ARE CONDUCTED
The statement emphasized that data security is a top priority for YÖK, adding, “Our data center and systems undergo regular system scans every month. The issue of data security is handled with great importance within our institution, and all necessary measures are taken and efforts are made to protect the data.”
