The Supreme Election Council (YSK) has rejected the request for a recount of votes and a renewal of the election in the Samandağ district of Hatay.

In the district, TİP candidate Emrah Karaçay received 47.06 percent of the vote, while CHP candidate S. Bedir Abacı received 42.07 percent.
