According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected across the country, except for Mersin and Karaman.

Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, and sleet and snow in the eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Sivas, Bayburt, Bingöl, and Tunceli, and the high altitudes of the Eastern Black Sea region. Precipitation is expected to be locally strong in the Eastern Black Sea coast, the eastern part of Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Bursa, Çanakkale, Aksaray, Niğde, Ordu, Hakkari, Bitlis, Bingöl, Muş, and Şırnak, as well as the northern parts of Balıkesir.

Icing and frost are expected in the eastern regions during the morning and night hours. There is an avalanche danger in the high slopes with deep snow cover in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease slightly in the northern and interior parts and remain above seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow from the south in general, and from the north in Marmara and the Western Black Sea, light to occasionally moderate.

MARMARA

It is expected to be very cloudy, with intermittent rain and downpours across the region. Precipitation is expected to be locally strong in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Bursa, and Çanakkale, and in the northern parts of Balıkesir.
