Meteorology issues warning: Temperatures above seasonal norms, showers coming to these provinces

According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern and eastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected along the Eastern Black Sea coast, the eastern parts of Samsun, the surroundings of Ordu, and the eastern parts of Van and Hakkari, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.

Air temperatures are expected to hover around seasonal norms in the northeastern and eastern parts of the country, and 2 to 5 degrees above norms in other areas.

The wind is expected to blow from the north in general, and from the south in the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) in the south and west of Marmara, the North Aegean coast, the north of the Eastern Mediterranean, the southeast of Central Anatolia, and the west of Eastern Anatolia.
