According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and occasional thunderstorms expected in the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, the eastern part of Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Hatay, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Sivas, Ordu, Tokat, and Adıyaman. Higher elevations in the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia are expected to see sleet and snow, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny. 

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Şırnak, Hakkari, Batman, and Siirt, as well as in the eastern part of Diyarbakır.
