"No irregularities found in water samples"

Tokat Mayor Yazıcıoğlu stated that the drinking water throughout the city is regularly inspected by Provincial Health Directorate teams, saying, "Our drinking water in Tokat is always inspected by the Provincial Health Directorate teams. Drinking water samples taken from all corners of our city are analyzed regularly. No changes in odor or color have been detected in observational checks of the drinking water. Even during periods of heavy rainfall, no change in drinking water quality has been detected. In the test results conducted most recently on October 5, 2026, no irregularities were found. I kindly request that our citizens act cautiously and boil the water before use for a temporary period until the test results are announced. During this time, there may be a slight odor in the drinking water due to chlorination. I kindly request that our citizens follow our official institutions for accurate information," he said.

We currently have 15 patients receiving inpatient treatment. The general health status of all of them is good. The total number of admissions, which began around 21:00 last night, is around 1,300 to 1,400. However, as the process is ongoing, these numbers may vary," he stated.
