Famous folk singer Berdan Mardini, who is frequently in the headlines, established a factory in his hometown for 120 million TL in 2018. The roses processed at the rose oil and rose water factory that Mardini founded in his hometown of Mardin have now reached the global market.
Famous folk singer Berdan Mardini, who has recently been one of the most talked-about names in magazine headlines due to his unique style of dress and private life, is now on the agenda with the expansion of the factory he founded in his hometown to the world.
Four years ago, with the support of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, Mardini established a factory in the Artuklu district of Mardin for 120 million TL.
The rose oil and rose water obtained from processing roses at the factory have now begun to be sold to Middle Eastern and European countries, in addition to the domestic market.
Berdan Mardini previously stated in a statement:
"We are very happy to provide 90 percent female employment at the factory. 400 people work during the season. Last year, one kilogram of rose oil was sold for 14 thousand euros."
