Bitlis earthquake warning from Prof. Dr. Naci Görür: He pointed to February 6
Seismologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür made an assessment following the 4.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Bitlis. In his statement on X, Görür said, "The effect of the February 6 earthquakes."
According to information provided by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the center of Bitlis at 05:50.
In the statement, the depth of the earthquake was recorded as 8.71 kilometers.
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür issued a notable warning on his social media account following the earthquake.
In his post on X (Twitter), Görür used the following expressions:

"Successive 4.3-magnitude earthquakes occurred in the İçlikaval-Hizan region of Bitlis. The earthquakes are within the WNW-trending thrust faults south of Lake Van,
close to the SE thrust belt. The effect of the February 6 earthquakes."
