Huge raise for Yunus Akgün: His new salary revealed

Galatasaray is set to sign a new contract with Yunus Akgün, who has had a strong start to the season and most recently scored the winning goal against Alanyaspor.

It has been learned that a 4-year contract will be signed with the 24-year-old player, who has 2 years remaining on his current deal and earns 11 million lira annually, and that his salary will be increased to 40 million lira.

Yunus, who has become an indispensable part of the team and has scored critical goals in both the league and Europe this season, will see his development rewarded.

Yunus Akgün, who has managed to score 2 goals in the Europa League and 2 in the Süper Lig, shone particularly with his performance against Fenerbahçe in Kadıköy.

Yunus, who was deployed on the right wing in the Alanyaspor match, once again displayed an effective performance just as he did on the left, and it was noted that his use as a joker has eased Okan Buruk's hand.

Following Kerem's departure, Yunus's recent breakthrough is considered highly valuable due to Barış Alper's lack of form and Sallai not yet being match-ready. 

Akgün's current market value is at the level of 6.5 million euros.
