Maserati unveils the GT2 Stradale at Monterey Car Week 2024

Italian luxury performance brand Maserati held the world premiere of its new super sports car, the Maserati GT2 Stradale, at Monterey Car Week 2024, held in the U.S. state of California.

While the event brought car enthusiasts together, Maserati showcased both its historical heritage and its vision for the future.

The Maserati GT2 Stradale stands out as a symbol of the brand's return to GT racing. Born from the union of the high-performance Maserati GT2 and the iconic MC20, this model combines technical excellence with a unique design.

Its 640-horsepower engine, top speed exceeding 320 km/h, and ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds prove that the vehicle is an engineering marvel.

This new super sports car offers extraordinary comfort and a superior driving feel under all conditions, while also catching the eye with its aggressive aesthetic design. The Maserati GT2 Stradale can be customized with performance-enhancing packages and offers market-specific configurations, providing a personalized driving experience.

At Monterey Car Week 2024, Maserati held the premiere of the MC20 Icona, one of the new variants of the MC20. The MC20 Icona was introduced as a limited-edition model commemorating the 20th anniversary of Maserati's return to GT championships.

Limited to only 20 units, this special model met with Maserati enthusiasts at the event.

Throughout the week, Maserati showcased its iconic models, such as the MC20 Tributo Modenese and the MC12 Special Edition, at the House of Maserati, the hub of events during Monterey Car Week.

In addition, current models such as the all-electric Folgore series and the GranCabrio Trofeo were also featured at the event.

Maserati CEO Davide Grasso stated that the GT2 Stradale represents the brand's sporting heritage and the evolution of the iconic MC20 model, saying, "The Maserati GT2 Stradale is a unique model designed for daily driving, offering technical mastery and innovation. Reflecting Maserati's racing DNA, this new model has been designed to meet the requirements of the most discerning automotive enthusiasts."
