Where was the series Piyasa filmed?

Kanal D's new series Piyasa met with the audience with its first episode on Saturday night, February 22. Starring İlayda Alişan and Alp Navruz, the series tells the story of the intersecting paths of Münevver and Kenan, who live very different lives.

Living in a small town with her sick mother and siblings, a chance comes Münevver's way. There is a man who wants to marry her. He is financially well-off and says he will take care of her sick mother. Upon this, Münevver agrees to the marriage, even though she does not really want to. However, her mother passes away right on the night of her henna ceremony.

A large part of the series Piyasa takes place in Istanbul, and future episodes will as well. However, viewers are particularly curious about where the town where Münevver lives, which is featured in the first episode, is located.

The name of this place is Gölyazı. Gölyazı, which looks like an island but is actually a peninsula, is located in the Nilüfer district of Bursa.
