Prosecutor's office has made its decision! CHP's Ali Şeker had faced a lynching attempt at the ballot box in Şanlıurfa

In the investigation regarding the assault on CHP's Ali Şeker and the irregularities in the voting process during the elections held on May 28 in Urfa, the prosecutor's office has issued a decision of "no grounds for prosecution."

Ali Şeker announced the decision on X. The CHP member stated that he would continue his pursuit of justice.

Making a statement on the social media platform X, Ali Şeker said the following:

"Today is December 5, 1934, the 89th anniversary of women being granted the right to vote and be elected. During the May 28 elections in the village of Karaali in Şanlıurfa, while I was struggling to prevent the casting of votes with forged signatures on behalf of over 500 women and hundreds of men who did not come to vote, even though no village women had come to vote, I was injured as a result of a collective attack by 40 people. A decision of no grounds for prosecution on behalf of the public has been issued regarding the collective lynching attempt and the incident of voting on behalf of the women in the village and hundreds of men who did not come, and the decision was served today. I will continue to seek justice, for everyone, on behalf of everyone, and despite everything."
