ATV driver dies after plunging into a cliff in Denizli
In the Pamukkale district of Denizli, 30-year-old ATV driver Okan Meydan lost his life after plunging into a cliff. It was revealed that Meydan had made a social media post just two hours before his death.
Okan Meydan (30), who worked as a photographer, went up to the Bağbaşı plateau in Denizli with his friends to ride ATVs.
After a while, his friends returned to the city center, but when Meydan did not return, they began searching for him. Upon discovering that Meydan had plunged into a cliff, his friends reported the situation to 112 emergency services.
MEDICAL TEAMS DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE
Upon the notification, UMKE, fire department, and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the region.
Medical teams determined that Meydan had lost his life. Meydan's body was taken to the Pamukkale University Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
HE HAD POSTED TWO HOURS EARLIER
It was determined that two hours before the accident, Meydan had used a drone to film himself on the ATV to show the area he was in and shared the footage on his social media account.
