Bahar and Nihal Candan reunite for the first time in a long time
Sisters Bahar and Nihal Candan were arrested 7 months ago in an operation targeting a criminal gang and money laundering. After Nihal Candan was released, her sister's mental health deteriorated significantly. She suffered several nervous breakdowns in prison. The prison doctor decided she should be hospitalized.
The prison doctor referred Bahar Candan to a mental health and psychiatric hospital. Bahar Candan has been in the hospital for days. Her family visited her for the first time after the holiday.
They spoke from behind a glass partition. Seeing her sister Nihal in front of her, Bahar complained, "Why did you leave me behind?"
Bahar's mother, father, grandmother, Nihal, and Nihal's boyfriend came to the hospital to visit Bahar.
While they thought they would meet with Bahar in the courtyard, they saw her from the other side of a glass partition in a room. Visits are allowed once a month; otherwise, they can only receive information from the doctor when they visit.
Seeing Nihal in front of her, Bahar complained, "Why did you leave me behind?"
According to reports from Kanal D, they stayed inside for about 1.5 hours. Bahar Candan will remain in the hospital for a while longer before being sent back to prison.
