Famous singer Demet Akalın's cousin, Hakan Kılıç, has passed away due to COPD, a disease he had been battling for a long time.
Demet Akalın's cousin, Hakan Kılıç, has lost his life at the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Gölcük. Kılıç, who had been in intensive care since May 22, passed away due to COPD.
His funeral will be held today following the afternoon prayer at the Gölcük Central Mosque, after which he will be laid to rest.
Akalın shared the sad news with her followers on social media. Posting a photo of her cousin on her Instagram account, she expressed her grief with the words, "My mountain of a cousin Hakan is gone. My aunt's legacy is gone."
