Famous rappers clash! Sefo files lawsuit against Reynmen over 'Bonita' song revenue

Seyfullah Sağır, known as Sefo, and rapper Yusuf Aktaş, known as Reynmen, have ended up in court over the song 'Bonita'. Sefo accused Reynmen on his social media account, stating, '"I will do everything legally in my power against this mafia-like 'revenue-grabbing' attitude."

In the incident that pitted the two rappers, who are very popular among young people, against each other, the duo had performed a duet on the song Bonita four years ago and also appeared together in the track's music video.

FILED A LAWSUIT ON THE GROUNDS OF NOT RECEIVING REVENUE

Seyfullah Sağır, known as Sefo, announced on his social media that he has filed a lawsuit against Yusuf Aktaş, known as Reynmen, because he has not received his 'revenue' share.

While Sefo stated that he was the songwriter of the track and even paid for the music video out of his own pocket, he also made serious accusations against Reynmen.

In his statement, Sefo used the following expressions:

"I am sad that things have come to this point. We didn't plan it this way, we didn't talk about it this way, but this is how it happened. For 2.5 years, I haven't received a single payment from the revenues of the 'Bonita' song, which I wrote the lyrics for, sang, and even paid for the music video out of my own pocket. When the time comes, they talk about rights and justice, but they are the best at taking it for themselves. I don't know how much it is—3 or 5—and I don't care. However, I will do everything legally in my power against this mafia-like 'revenue-grabbing' attitude."

Reynmen has not yet made a statement regarding the matter.
