Actor Furkan Andıç, who was fired from the TRT series 'Muhabir' for supporting his girlfriend Aybüke Pusat—who was removed from the cast of the TRT series 'Teşkilat' for calling for a boycott—has broken his silence after days.
Following the protests that began after the detention and arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, a consumer boycott was held on April 2.
Actress Aybüke Pusat, who starred in the TRT series 'Teşkilat', was removed from the show for sharing a post about the boycott, while her boyfriend Furkan Andıç, who supported Pusat, was also removed from the TRT series 'Muhabir'.

Andıç, whose contract was terminated, broke his silence after days. Andıç expressed his support for university students by sharing a post on his social media account that read, "81 of our friends are still in detention."
