The new series 'Modern Kadın' (Modern Woman), in which İrem Sak both stars and wrote the screenplay, is coming to GAİN very soon with its sincere and poignant story of urban women navigating the space between modern life and traditional values.

Produced by TIMS&B Productions, the series brings to the screen the contradictions, pressures, and internal questioning that urban women experience between modern life and traditional values, all told with a sincere and humorous tone.

“Modern Kadın” centers on the story of 35-year-old Pınar. Coming from a traditional family and trying to stand on her own two feet in Istanbul, Pınar works as an assistant brand manager at a food company.

While Pınar appears strong and determined on the outside, in her inner world, she is searching for love, a promotion, and her own sense of self.

As she blows out the candles on her birthday cake, her wish is simple yet meaningful: “Let the promotion and love I’ve been waiting for finally come.”

“Modern Kadın” tells the story of the conflicts women face between modern life and traditional values, the dilemmas they encounter in the home-work-love triangle, and their efforts to establish themselves, all with a realistic approach.

The project was designed by İrem Sak and Murat Kepez, and the series is directed by Ayberk Sak and M. Emre Kaman.

Sak is joined in the series by Hakan Salınmış, Durul Bazan, Özlem Toksalan, Su Sanad, Gözde Kaya, Tuğçe Karabayır, and Kemal Okan Özkan. Additionally, Özgür Çevik, Kubilay Aka, Hatice Aslan, and Hasibe Aygül Özgür contribute to the project as guest actors.
