Court ruling finalized: It is confirmed that Duygu Nebioğlu is the daughter of Metin Akpınar

Born from an extramarital affair, Duygu Nebioğlu had filed a paternity suit against actor Metin Akpınar.

The case, which was heard in Antalya and was subject to a confidentiality order, concluded today. Taking DNA tests into account, the court ruled that Duygu Nebioğlu is the daughter of Metin Akpınar.

Ankaramasası website interviewed Metin Akpınar's daughter, Duygu Nebioğlu, who was left in a village by her mother, later placed under state protection, and subsequently adopted. Duygu Nebioğlu said the following:

I was adopted by the Nebioğlu family in '94. Following the adventure that began with my family trying to integrate me into society, I became curious about my biological family and my family tree.

This thought led me to Mr. Metin Akpınar, who has become a part of Turkish society. When I was just a 21-year-old university student, I unfortunately could not experience the happiness of the artist I admired being my biological father due to the intense feeling of bewilderment I felt in the face of the truth. Because of the insufficient love I received, I experienced severe trauma as he struggled to embrace me, and for this reason, I reached out to my esteemed lawyers.”

“Today, thanks to my lawyers Ferihan Polat and Ahmet Furkan Uludağ, the fact that Metin Akpınar is my father has been made official by the decision of the Akseki Civil Court of First Instance. We have secured all my rights before the law.”
