Mustafa Sandal: 'Stop hanging banners and posters during election periods'
The banners frequently used by political parties during election periods have bothered famous singer Mustafa Sandal. Sandal said, "Do not waste this country's resources for the sake of posters. Stop hanging banners and posters during election periods."
Ahead of the local elections to be held on Sunday, March 31, 2024, banners and posters of the parties participating in the elections are appearing in all regions of the country.
Famous singer Mustafa Sandal expressed his discomfort with seeing the banners of mayoral candidates.
'PLEASE, A LITTLE CIVILIZATION'
Sandal said, "Let us not waste this country's resources like this. It is a shame, it is a sin! The earth and sky are full of candidate photos. What happens when we see candidates on posters? If citizens from civilized countries came to our country, we would not be able to explain these banners. It is as if a beauty pageant is being held. Candidates should express their services and visions verbally and in writing, not with banners. Please, a little civilization."
