Singer Madonna makes Gaza appeal to the Pope

Stating that the Pope's entry into Gaza cannot be blocked, Madonna addressed the Pope, saying, "Please go to Gaza before it is too late and bring your light to the children. As a mother, I cannot bear to watch them suffer. The world's children belong to us all."

Pointing to the children caught in the middle of the conflict in Gaza, Madonna used the following expressions:

"Humanitarian aid gates must be opened completely and innocent children must be saved. There is no time left, please say you will go."

Stating that today is her son Rocco's birthday, Madonna said, "As a mother, the best gift I can give him is to ask everyone to do their best to save the innocent children caught in the middle of the conflict."

Emphasizing that she is not blaming anyone and is not taking sides, Madonna invited those who want to help to donate to the US-based non-governmental organization World Central Kitchen (WCK) and the Israeli non-governmental organization Women Wage Peace.

Singer Madonna stated, "Everyone is suffering. My only goal is to prevent these children from starving to death."
