'Social media' crisis between Dilan Polat and Engin Polat
Dilan Polat, who had decided to stay away from social media after her release, began posting repeatedly following the release of her husband, Engin Polat. It has been alleged that this behavior by Dilan Polat angered Engin Polat, causing a rift between the couple.
An interim decision has been announced in the Polat case, which has been closely followed by Turkey.
There are no longer any detainees in the trial of Dilan and Engin Polat, who are accused of 'establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes,' 'laundering assets derived from crime,' and 'violating the Law on the Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance.'
In the hearing held at the Anatolian 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance, a release decision was issued for the 4 detained defendants: Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, and accountant Ahmet Gün.
Celebrating the release decision regarding her husband, Dilan Polat did not keep her promise to 'stay away from social media.' Immediately after the news of the release, Dilan Polat made consecutive posts on her social media account.
HE DID NOT LOOK AT HIS WIFE'S FACE
According to the report on Kanal D, while her posts led to comments that "everything continues from where it left off," they also left a mark on the moment the couple reunited after 10 months. It was claimed that Engin Polat did not look at the face of his wife who came to meet him, and that he was particularly reactive toward Dilan Polat due to her social media posts.

TRAVEL BANS WILL CONTINUE
While the Polats arrived home late at night, the court decided to reject the request to lift the injunctions on their assets. Although the judicial controls on the defendants were lifted, the travel ban will remain in effect. The next hearing date for the case is December 19.
