At the end of her performance, she made a surprise marriage proposal to her boyfriend, DJ Melih Kunukçu, who was among the audience. Derici expressed her feelings by saying, "Forgive my accent. 'The architecture of the place is incredible, the cocktails are incredible. Then the soloist said; ‘No one judges anyone here, whoever wants to can come on stage’. I couldn't say 'I come from a place of judgment, sister, excuse me', I somehow threw myself onto that stage. 'One more, one more' started. There were maybe 50 people inside. I got emotional,' she said, sharing the story of how she got on stage.
