14-hour water outage in four districts of Istanbul!
A 14-hour water outage will occur tomorrow in the Bahçelievler, Esenler, Bağcılar, and Güngören districts of Istanbul.
The Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) has announced that the water outage, which will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 11, will last until midnight.
The reason for the outage was cited as electromagnetic flowmeter and needle valve work to be carried out on the main transmission lines at the exit of the Bahçelievler Pumping Station, as well as the replacement of electromechanical equipment for butterfly valves on the Soğanlı Neighborhood-Bağcılar line and the Kocasinan line.
NEIGHBORHOODS AFFECTED BY THE WATER OUTAGE
Parts of the Bahçelievler, Yenibosna Merkez, Çobançeşme, Hürriyet, Kocasinan Merkez, Zafer, Fevzi Çakmak, Cumhuriyet, Soğanlı, Şirinevler, and Siyavuşpaşa neighborhoods in Bahçelievler; the Mahmutbey, 15 Temmuz, Bağlar, Barbaros, Yıldıztepe, Fevzi Çakmak, İnönü, Yenigün, Merkez, Çınar, Sancaktepe, Kemalpaşa, Yavuz Selim, Kazım Karabekir, and Hürriyet neighborhoods in Bağcılar; the Haznedar, Güven, Akıncılar, Mareşal Çakmak, Merkez, Sanayi, and Güneştepe neighborhoods in Güngören; and a part of the Fatih neighborhood in Esenler will be affected by the water outage.
