Drunk driver crashes into police vehicle
In Hatay, a car driven by an intoxicated driver lost control and crashed into a police vehicle, leaving two police officers injured.
The accident occurred at the prison junction in the Arsuz district.
According to the information obtained, the car, whose driver lost control due to intoxication, hit a lighting pole before crashing into a stationary police vehicle parked at the scene.
Two police officers inside the vehicle were injured in the accident.
The injured police officers were taken to the hospital for treatment following initial intervention at the scene.
The driver, who was determined to be intoxicated during checks, was taken into custody.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
