AFAD announced that a 4.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Yedisu district of Bingöl.

The short-lived tremor was also felt in surrounding provinces.
In a statement made by the Bingöl Governorship, it was stated that "it has been determined that there was no loss of life or property in the 4.8-magnitude earthquake."
