Ahmet Şık poses 'Ayhan Bora Kaplan' questions to the government
Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Istanbul MP Ahmet Şık has directed questions to the government regarding Ayhan Bora Kaplan. Speaking at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly, Şık asked, "Will a judicial and administrative investigation be launched into Yüksel Kocaman, who swept Ayhan Bora Kaplan's past investigation files under the rug during his time as Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor?"
Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Istanbul MP Ahmet Şık spoke at the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
Speaking on the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation, Şık directed questions to the government.
Starting his remarks by describing Kaplan's rise, Şık said:
"There is a mafia figure who started his professional career selling pirated CDs and turned into one of the richest people in Ankara, protected by a former interior minister. Ayhan Bora Kaplan, whom Süleyman Soylu called to the front of the TRT building by phone on the night of July 15, and who posed with his weapon.
What started the apocalypse are the things recounted in videos published on social media by Serdar Sertçelik, who was made a whistleblower after fleeing abroad while being a suspect as an organization leader in the investigation. Sertçelik was explaining that he was forced to give testimony attempting to include important names from the government in the Kaplan investigation. In the meantime, let us note that Sertçelik allegedly fled abroad by paying a bribe while he was under house arrest with an electronic tag.
The summary of the matter is this: It is a debate consisting of a power and dominance struggle between rival sects/communities entrenched in the police force that are close to the ruling parties, individuals and teams wanting to sit in the directorate chairs of Istanbul and Ankara, Süleyman Soylu and his purged team, and those close to politicians within the government."
"WILL AN INVESTIGATION BE LAUNCHED INTO YÜKSEL KOCAMAN?"
Directing questions to the government regarding the Ayhan Bora Kaplan investigation, Şık continued his speech as follows:
'One of the government's media figures was the first to announce the Kaplan investigation by saying, "The Ankara police are organizing a FETÖ-style conspiracy similar to December 17/25." Did this media figure meet before the broadcast with former Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Yüksel Kocaman, for whom a police report was prepared stating that he received bribes from Kaplan and had his house furnished, and Deputy Director General of Security Mahmut Çorumlu?
In addition to the bribery relations, will a judicial and administrative investigation be launched into Yüksel Kocaman, who swept Ayhan Bora Kaplan's past investigation files under the rug during his time as Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor?
Behind Sertçelik's allegations, are there police chiefs who are part of Soylu's purged team and Soylu himself, who is orchestrating an operation to remove his successor Ali Yerlikaya from his seat?
Are the Head of Intelligence of the General Directorate of Security Selami Yıldız, who wants to be the Istanbul Police Chief, and Deputy Director General of Security Mahmut Çorumlu, who wants to be the Ankara Police Chief, trying to expand their alliance in the operation against Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya by opposing the retirement of former Ankara Police Chief Servet Yılmaz, who is one of the people closest to Süleyman Soylu?
In addition to their pursuit of positions, is one of the reasons they are amplifying Sertçelik's allegations the claim that in the statements and lists provided by the secret witness codenamed "Garson" (Waiter), Çorumlu and Yıldız were identified as former Fethullahists who changed sides with the code "DA," meaning "Enemy Active"?
Does the fact that the MIT (National Intelligence Organization) is involved have an effect on the police chiefs detained for coup plotting being arrested for violating the confidentiality of the investigation by changing the legal classification of their crimes?
Did Ankara Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Veysel Kaçmaz give the order for the coup investigation against the police chiefs?
Opening a parenthesis here, it is essential to mention who Kaçmaz is to understand the issue. Veysel Kaçmaz, who is from the nationalist (Ülkücü) community, is also a name close to Hamit Kocabey, who resigned from his membership in the 1st Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) upon the instruction of Devlet Bahçeli. When Kocabey was forced to resign from his position as Bahçeli's advisor, to which he was brought after the HSK, he became a person who drew closer to Süleyman Soylu and Servet Yılmaz.
Did Veysel Kaçmaz try to include Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse, known for his closeness to the President's Chief of Staff Hasan Doğan, in the FETÖ civil administration structuring file? Is Karaköse also settling scores with Kaçmaz on this occasion?
Are the allegations true that a 300 thousand dollar bribe was taken from Ayhan Bora Kaplan's lawyer and given to the Menzil community?
In the Kaplan investigation, were the phones and communication traffic of 280 people, including AKP and MHP ministers, bureaucrats, MPs, and executives, monitored?
'WHY WAS ENGİN DİNÇ MADE ANKARA POLICE CHIEF?'
How and why was Engin Dinç, who is a high-level intelligence officer with the Hrant Dink and Priest Santoro murders, the Ankara Train Station massacre, the Merasim Street and Güvenpark bombings, the July 15 coup attempt, and the academic murder in Eskişehir during his time as police chief on his record, made Ankara Police Chief?
Is it true that Engin Dinç, known as a Nurcu, brought names from the Okuyucu group of the Nurcus to duty in the appointments he made after taking office?
In the appointments, similar to the profiling we are familiar with from the Fethullahists, were questions such as "Does he drink alcohol? Is his wife's head covered? Does he pray?" taken as a basis?"
