Bahçeli's October 29 message: The Republic is the monumental work of the national will

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has released a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic.

In his message, Bahçeli stated that the Republic emerged as the result of the struggle waged during the War of Independence, noting, "The Republic of Türkiye is the monumental work of the national will, rising after being filtered through the arduous trials of our War of Independence."

Emphasizing that the Republic has eternalized the Turkish nation's will to determine its own destiny, Bahçeli noted that they are determined to carry this legacy toward the "bright horizons of the Turkish and Türkiye Century."

At the end of his message, Bahçeli commemorated the founder of the Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the commanders of the National Struggle, the members of the first Parliament, the martyrs, and the veterans who have passed away with mercy, gratitude, and respect.
