Changes to the social media account of Oktay Saral, who announced his resignation from the position of Chief Advisor to the President, have drawn attention. It was observed that the phrase "Chief Advisor to the President of the Republic of Turkey," which previously appeared on Saral's X profile, has been removed.

The background image on Saral's profile has also changed. Saral, who previously used a photograph of the Presidential Palace, replaced this image with a photograph of the Turkish flag.

The process came to the agenda following Saral's criticisms regarding the dress code implemented in schools in Azerbaijan. In a post he made on October 12, Saral stated, "It is unacceptable to prevent the right to education of students wearing headscarves in Azerbaijan. The right to education cannot be sacrificed to any ideological imposition."

Following this statement, it was alleged that Saral had been dismissed, and Saral later announced on his social media account that he had resigned. In his statement, he said, "I have submitted my resignation from my position as Chief Advisor to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which I have carried out with great honor, pride, and responsibility since 2016."

In the same statement, Saral emphasized that positions are temporary and stated that he would continue to walk alongside President Erdoğan. The words, "This decision of mine does not mean taking a step back from the values I believe in and my will to serve our nation," were also included in Saral's statement.
